Well, this is your local otaku evil-yoda coming to you with another blog post. Sorry for the delay, as i have been swamped with many things and just got a little breathing room. so on to the news at hand. The groups facebook page is growing by the second and we are working on many new and exciting things and are getting the latest and greatest anime for your viewing pleasure. with that in mind, i am considering having a raffle to help promote the club so your feedback is most welcome. What up guys. This is your El Presidente blogger coming to you with another excellent blog. This time i went to C2E2, which is a comic book convention at mccormick palce. The air was charged with excitement and fun galore. the highlight for con for me was seeing jerry "the king" lawler and poplocking mario at the masquarde saturday night. The exhibitors were awesome and the swag was topnotch in my book. If you like comics or want to try another con thats not anime themed, then this is the con for you. be on the lookout for pt 2 and 3 soon!!!!1

Hey guys, long time no see. Sorry i have'nt been around with a blog post but the last few days but things are getting hetic to say the least. Just 2 weeks until C2E2 and i can't wait. After this is ACEN. So in a nutshell that's whats going on. Before i leave, i want to post a question for you: Are you for or aganist the remakes of classic anime?Reply to this post and let me know what you think.

You ever have those days where you come up with a plan and you go over every detail and wonder what could go wrong?
Well, it's happening to me in spades. the meeting seems to be a no go. if anyone shows up, then good. if not, then i can move my plans to something else. if anyone shows up for the meeting, just stay put.email me before 11 am to confirm the meeting. if not, we will push it back to another day.

Craziness of Cons

Sorry it's been awhile since i last posted but i've been real busy as of late. so lets begin shall we?

Finised my midterms and did so-so which means i have to buckle down some. Club is coming along real well so i hope to have some real success in this venture. working on getting partnerships with some of the anime clubs and companies. Going to C2E2 for the first time this year so i'm looking forward to it. just watced a boatload of anime and recomend that you sit down and watch the first lupin the 3rd movie, the castle of coligstro. overall a awesome anime.

So thats about it in a nutshell. if you have any suggestions for anime i should watch, then leave a comment on the website.

Bad Day

So i had a pretty eventful day yesterday. Here's the bulletpoints:

Glasses broke so had to stay home from class.
Had to find eye doctor that had a deal and offer same day service.
Missed crucial information on midterm test this week.
Got glasses for moderate price.

So thats about it in a nutshell. Looking for potential swag to give to club members and new content to put up. so if anyone out there have any ideas, just drop me a line and let me know.

Snowy day and really feel like going home. Sitting in school witing for my classmates so i can finish this project and relax .On a brighter note, my first anime club meeting is this sat, so i want to show that i have what it takes to do this.

First Time

Well,this is the first of i hope many post on my blog. I think i will call it "Innerworkings of an Otaku". So here goes nothing.

Went to go see the live action Gantz movie. Action was good but was peppered in with akward moments. They changed some of the characters backstories and deleted some. Cherry picked key fights (although they were awesome!!!!). Also, the english dub was terrible. It's a good movie to see if you like Gantz, like seeing funny/violent Movies, or just want to expand your mind and see something new.
